Ashley Snubs Lagerfield; He Likes Lindsay Better Anyway

Ashley Olsen pic She may have her own fashion line but Ashley Olsen will probably regret pissing off legendary fashionista Karl Lagerfeld. The pint-size Ashley was not only unfashionably late to the Chanel New York-Paris show at his flagship store in New York, but then she failed to recognize him.

According to the New York Post, the show was held up for 30 minutes while waiting for the actress, who had to view the rest of the show from backstage when she arrived and was not seated in front with other celebs such as Lindsay Lohan and Claire Danes.

But that was only the beginning, PageSix reported. Mr. Lagerfeld did try to talk to Ashley but she "cringed away from him like he was a stalker. Her person had to tell her who he was, but he had already whispered something nasty in French about her and was very mad." And, the source added, he refused to speak to her after that.

Master P will Step in Romeo's Place on "Dancing With Stars"

Lil' Romeo and Master P. Due to a basketball injury, rapper Romeo has dropped out of training for the upcoming second season of the hit show "Dancing with the Stars," which is set to premiere on Thursday, January 5 on ABC.

Stepping in for him, will be his father, rap artist and music industry mogul, Master P., who will partnered with professional ballroom dancer Ashly Delgrosso and be learning some non-hip moves -- such as the foxt trot and the cha cha.

Other celebrities on the show include tanned actor George Hamilton, actress Tatum O'Neal, pro wrestling diva Stacy Kiebler, Drew Lachey of 98 Degrees, ESPN commentator Kenny Mayne, and former football great Jerry Rice.

"Dancing with the Stars" was last summer's most successful series, averaging 16.8 million viewers weekly. The competition pairs celebrities with professional dancers who train together, then perform dance routines in front of a studio audience. The dancers are then judged by a panel of experts and viewers at home. Couples will the lowest totals are eliminated from the competition.

Linzes win the not-so-Amazing Race 8

The Linz brothers and sister ran a smooth final leg and literally cruised to the finish line to claim the $1 million prize as winners of The Amazing Race: Family Edition. Just behind them in a close second place were the Bransen family, with the Weaver family finishing third.

Departing from their last pit stop, the teams left Montana after some wraslin' at the airport between Nick Linz and Rolly Weaver which left both unharmed but caused more trash talk by Ma Weaver -- which pissed Nick off enough to say he wished he'd of broken Rolly's arm although you knew he didn't mean it. The teams fly to Montreal were they take a cab to the Underground City and all twelve people get LOST in the maze of metro tunnels while trying to find the clue box. In the austere, pristine, and endless corridors, the Linzes and Bransens manage to WALK PAST the clue box several times without seeing it.

Finally, they find it and are sent off to the next detour: a choice between "Slide It" or "Roll It." In "Slide It" the teams annoy their cab drivers on the way to McGill Arena where they must do some curling. The Linzes have a lot fun with this, as they do with everything, but not as much fun as the Beatles had with curling in the movie "Help." Ringo and George were especially good at sweeping as I remember.

Foxy Brown Not Deaf, Just Broke Says a Source

Foxy Brown pic So has she gone deaf or not? Or has her surgery been successful in restoring some of her hearing? According to the New York Post story, Foxy Brown spazzed out in the Signature Bank on New York's Park Avenue the other day.

The hip-hop artist ran into trouble trying to collect $2,000 in cash and a witness said she "got abusive and started screaming. She cursed out a bank manager and humiliated this woman." Insiders have told PageSix that along with hearing problems and trouble with the law, the rapper is having financial difficulties. An insider said her business manager "has been picking up her bills. She's broke."

Meanwhile, PageSix is also reporting that talk of Foxy's hearing loss is "much exaggerated."

Colin Farrell Checks into Rehab

Colin Farrell pic Bad boy actor Colin Farrell has reportedly checked himself into a drug rehab program on the very day his new cop movie is announced in the news. How's that for irony?

No, not "Miami Vice" the cop film he's been shooting forever with co-star Jamie Foxx. That should be finished by now. Colin's next gig is playing an Irish Boston cop in a drama that revolves around a three-generation family of police officers who are torn apart by a corruption scandal.

Since filming begins in February, Colin needs to double-time his recovery and treatment for "dependency on prescription medication." Apparently, he's been hooked on pain pills for awhile now after suffering a back injury. The rehab time will cause him to miss the Los Angeles premiere on Thursday of his latest film, the epic, "The New World," where he plays explorer John Smith in the 17th century.

As for "Pride and Glory," the cop film will also star Lake Bell, Ed Norton, Nick Nolte and Samantha Morgan. Lake Bell? What happened to "Surface"?? Hope it's not cancelled...

Sopranos Actor Wounded in Cop Killing, Robbery Attempt

Lillo Brancato Jr. pic "Sopranos" Actor Lillo Brancato Jr., 29, was hospitalized in critical condition with gunshot wounds suffered when an officer shot him after catching him breaking into an apartment to look for drugs. Brancato�s friend Steven Armento, 48, was also shot and in critical condition, and the New York police officer was killed by two bullets that struck him in the spleen.

According to reports, Armento allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Officer Daniel Enchautegui, 28, who returned fire and hit both men. Armento is being charged with first- and second-degree murder and Brancato with second-degree murder in the death of Enchautegui who was off-duty at the time.

Danni Boatwright Wins Survivor Guatemala

Sports radio host Danni Boatwright beat out Stephenie LaGrossa on "Survivor: Guatemala, The Maya Empire" Sunday night, winning the $1 million prize and the praise of the other survivor contestants on the 11th edition of the reality show.

Danni, a former Miss USA contestant, outlasted and outcharmed Stephenie, a veteran of "Survivor: Palau" series, to win the grueling 39-day challenge. Despite all the physical and mental challenges, it all came down to which woman was better liked. In the end, Steph, 25, had just made too many enemies in her efforts to win the game.

An enemy like former bud Judd Sergeant who was still wild-eye with simmering rage when he told Steph at the final jury tribal council, "Your strategy was just to backstab," as she and Danni defended their actions and how they played the game to the jury.

EMINEM Wants to Marry Kim -- AGAIN!

Eminem pic Rapper Eminem is saying publicly that he and his ex-wife Kim Mathers haven't given up on one another. He told a Detroit radio station, "We have reconciled and are probably going to remarry."

A friend of the rapper said that's what he's heard too, and told Star magazine: "Em told me, 'I might as well marry her again. For some reason, we seem to be stuck with each other for life,'" the friend said, adding, "It looks like they're getting remarried after the new year."

Fans will be surprised to hear that given the nasty divorce the couple went through. The couple married in 1999, split in 2001, and suffered through a bitter custody battle over their daughter Hailie, who is now 10. The rapper proved he was the jealous type when police charged him with pistol-whipping a man Em said he saw kissing Kim outside a nightclub. He got two years probation for it in 2001.

mary-kate Olsen pic According to People magazine, "Self-preservation and a need to recover from the loss of her boyfriend Stavros Niarchos to Paris Hilton " are the reasons why Mary-Kate Olsen left New York University after her freshman year and moved back to Los Angeles.

In an interview with W, Mary-Kate said of the greek: "I miss him and I love him and I don't speak with him anymore. It's a hurtful and painful subject...This is a hard time for me." As for Paris, she added, "we are not talking."

In going back to California, Olsen says, "I'm happy that I kind of realized that, okay, I just need to take care of myself right now. I need to be able to go to yoga and work out and just read scripts and go on auditions."

The less-stressful life, she says, is "what makes me happy. You know? Like, papers don't really make me happy."

Cindy Pimps Her Ride Right Off Survivor Guatemala

Cindy and Steph The zookeeper Cindy Hall fell to the "curse of the car" and became the latest survivor to be backstabbed and betrayed by the tribe, after she had too much to say about her good fortune.

The vote seemed pre-ordained early in the show when Cindy came back from the tribal council where Judd was voted off, and was pissed that she had not gotten the memo. Overall, though, the remaining survivors were pleased to see Judd go and a much friendlier atmosphere settled over the camp.

In the reward challenge, the survivors faced a course they had pretty much seen before. They raced across balance beam, untied knots, and broke tiles. Cindy and Steph were the most agile competitors and made it to the final two but Cindy proved a might quicker slapping her clay tile Mayan puzzle together to win the challenge - and a new car!

Then -- gasp! -- a shocker, as FOUR MORE CARS are driven hell-bent out of the jungle to the surprise of the players. Host Jeff Probst then gave Cindy the option of keeping the 2006 Pontiac Torrent she had won in the challenge, or give hers up so the four remaining contestants could each have a new Pontiac. The others are thrilled and look to Cindy eagerly. Jeff reminds her several times that in 9 seasons of Survivor the car winner has never gone on to win the game and called it the "curse of the car." Cindy says that since nothing in the game was guaranteed, she would keep what she had won. She then invited Stephenie to join her in the reward - driving to an archeological site where they ate barbeque.

During the commercial, I wondered if I would keep the Pontiac or give it up and concluded it would be more fun to give the 4 cars away, because I don't believe the others would have been inclined to vote Cindy off if she had given them each a car. She had the power to make them indebted to her and she didn't do it. She could have handed out four keys to her buds with a dark warning: "Vote me out and I will HUNT YOU DOWN one by one and KEY YOUR CAR. That's right, baby, a big ol' scratch down the side of your bling Pontiac!" But that's just me.
