Sean Lennon: All I Need is Love

Sean Lennon pic Sean Lennon, the second son of the late great Beatle John Lennon, is so desperate to find love he has recruited the help of gossip sheet Page Six to find a new girlfriend.

The spotlight-avoiding 30-year-old offspring of rock royalty is quoting as having told the New York Post of his requirements: she must be female (?), beautiful, and intelligent. "Any girl who is interested must simply be born female and between the ages of 18 and 45," Sean is reported to have said.

"They must have an IQ above 130 and they must be honest. They must not have any clinical, psychological disorders... and a kind heart." (Holy shit! He just described ME -- except for the "must not have any psychological disorders" part ...)

"Clearly beautiful - but beauty on the inside is more important - and no deformities, third legs, fifth nipples..."

"I'm completely alone and I'm completely miserable. So please send your request to Page Six."

Jennifer Lopez Wedding Tape Extortion Plot Goes Bust

Jennifer Lopez pic Undercover New York cops arrested two men who were trying to extort money from singer Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony in exchange for their stolen wedding video. They had even dropped the asking price from $1 million to a discounted $150,000.

The New York Post is reporting that the two men were arrested on Tuesday after weeks of negotiations. They had stolen Marc's 2005 Cadillac which contained his laptop computer on October 30th in New Jersey. The car was found on November 11 but the laptop remained missing...until Access Hollywood received a call from a man calling himself "Mr. Moses" and offering to sell the private video of the diva's June 2004 marriage ceremony.

Producers of the TV show -- as well as print publications and other entertainment shows -- turned down the wedding video (it's not a sex video), so the hapless crooks next contacted Marc's production company with a ransom demand for it. That's when the cops were called in.

Tori Spelling pic Tori Spelling, who is still married to husband Charlie Shanian, has publicly announced her engagement to actor Dean McDermott.

Both People and US Magazine are reporting that Charlie proposed to Tori on Christmas Eve in Toronto. But wait! He's still married too!

It's the latest rage to be engaged in Hollywood (stars don't "date"), especially if the couple has only known each other for a few weeks. Tori and Charlie actually met a year ago but it's odd that they didn't wait until their respective divorces are final. Charlie filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Mary Jo Eustace, in September, and Tori, the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star, filed for her divorce in October, some oh, 86 days ago.

She must be over the painful breakup of her marriage by now.

Nip/Tuck Character Gives Ideas to "Carver" Wannabe

Bruno Campos & Rhona Mitra A fanatical deranged fan of "Nip/Tuck" was arraigned in New York recently on charges that he attacked a woman using the guise of "The Carver", the stalking sexual predator from the popular FX show.

If you're a fan of the show, you now know that it was revealed in last week's finale that Dr. Quentin Costas was "The Carver" who stalked beautiful people who had plastic surgery, drugged and raped them, then "undid" the surgery by disfiguring them with a knife. In fact, a majority of fans guessed correctly that it was Quentin (played deliciously by Bruno Campos), but the real shocker was that he had an accomplice who turned out to be the kinky detective Kit MacGraw (Rhona Mitra) - who also turned out to be his very kinky and wierd sister. Nice plot twist there.

But the show was meant to be entertainment. The real life creep tortured and terrorized a woman for 13 hours on Halloween night - a woman he had worked with. the Gotham copycat, Peter Braunstein, a former reporter for Women's Wear Daily, is to be indicted for arson, kidnapping, burglary, robbery and sexual abuse.

Omarion Working on Second Album After Current Tour

Omarion pic R&B singer and heartthrob Omarion already has a Grammy nomination for his first album "O" and ready to begin work on his second album, proving that there is life after a boy band.

"I'm feeling a lot of similarities with Michael Jackson, the greatest entertainer of all time. I feel like this is going to be the one," says Omarion, formerly of B2K. "'Off the Wall' was the album where Michael really stepped out on his own, coming from a group, and really established himself."

"And being at that same age (he just turned 21), I feel like this is the age where it's time for me to step up, better myself, be more responsible and get more involved."

Wizard Author Dreads Life Without Harry

JK Rowling pic While rumors are rampant that JK Rowling is planning to kill off the Harry Potter in the final book of the series, the author herself has revealed that she is dreading starting work on the book - mainly because she can't imagine life without him.

January 2006 is penciled in as her start date on the seventh book although she says she's spent the last two months fine-tuning the finely-tuned plot, so we can assume she already knows the fate of the boy wizard.

"I contemplate this task with mingled feelings of excitement and dread. I can't wait to tell the final part, to answer all the questions. . . and yet it will all be over at last and I can't quite imagine life without Harry," The Sun quoted her as saying.

Will Courtney Love Sell the Nirvana Rights?

Courtney Love pic Courtney Love is reportedly going broke and wants to sell her rights to the Nirvana music catalog which was left to her by her late husband Kurt Cobain.

The troubled Hole singer is reportedly on the verge of bankruptcy and is hoping to cash in on the collection of Nirvana songs - which includes classic tracks "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come As You Are".

According to the New York Post, Love is looking for $100 million for her rights to the music which she obtained in 1994 after Kurt committed suicide. There's no word (yet) on the reaction to the news from former Nirvana band members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl who fought a lengthy legal battle with Love over royalties and control of the songs.

In other news, Courtney stopped making payments on a house that she bought for Kurt's sister, Kim, and the historic house is scheduled to be put up for public auction on January 6. Read the article in People.

Bo Bice Wants to Show He's the Real Thing

Bo Bice pic "American Idol" Bo Bice may have been the runner-up, but he's ready to show the world that his talent is for real.

The Alabama native hopes to follow Clay Aiken as the also-ran who actually runs away with it. His first CD "The Real Thing" is now in record stores.

"I'm obviously very excited about the album, to see what people think of it," he told The Birmingham News. "I had quite a bit of creative control, and I was extremely pleased with that. I had a lot of input."

Two of 11 tracks on "The Real Thing" were co-written by Bice. "[The ballad] Valley of Angels is about the idea that things aren't perfect," Bice said. "Everyone fumbles and falls and makes mistakes. When you're down, you might not feel there's any place of serenity you can find. It's about finding peace."

Wild Antics of Michelle Rodriguez Described in Police Report

Michele Rodriguez pic KITV News of Honolulu obtained police documents describing the drunken behavior of "Lost" star Michelle Rodriguez who, along with co-star Cynthia Watros, was arrested for drunk driving earlier this month.

Among the other tidbits of the report: Michelle was driving a black Mercedes-Benz, while Cynthia Watros was driving a Lexus SUV. Officers said both actresses had blood-shot, glassy eyes and smelled of alcohol when they were stopped. Both cars were weaving all over the right lane and heading into the bike lane. The cars were heading toward downtown Honolulu. Cynthia told an officer she was driving home to Lanikai, however, the "Lost" star was headed in the opposite direction.

But it was Michelle who was the handful that night. Police said she was "very argumentative" and kept interrupting the police officer, who was explaining drunk driving sanctions to her. According to the report, Rodriguez said, "I don't (expletive) belong here! Why don't you just put a gun to my head and shoot me! You've already taken my freedom! You might as well take my life too!"

Tina Turner To Be Honored at the Kennedy Center

Tina Turner pic Tina Turner, the long-reigning queen of rock and roll, has eight Grammy Awards, sold millions of albums and she's already in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She's also among this year's honorees to be celebrated at the Kennedy Center.

Other performers honored for career achievement in the arts are: actor-director Robert Redford, singer Tony Bennett, actress Julie Harris, and dancer Suzanne Farrell. Caroline Kennedy is the host.

At the gala celebration, which will be shown on TV tomorrow night, Queen Latifah sang "What's Love Got to Do With It" in honor of Tina, while Melissa Etheridge sang "River Deep, Mountain High" and Beyonce Knowles performed "Proud Mary."

Oprah Winfrey called herself "Tina's biggest known groupie" and spoke of seeing Tina perform live, advising the audience at the Kennedy, "Add that to the list of things you do before you die."
