Fergie Joins The Sopranos as a Stripper

Fergie picBlack Eyed Peas singer Fergie has been cast to appear in the sixth season of "The Sopranos" where she'll play an undercover cop posing as a stripper at the mob's seedy Bad-A-Bing club. There's no indication how many episodes she'll be on before her character is whacked by boss Tony Soprano.

A show insider told Britain's Daily Mirror: "Fergie can't believe her luck at landing this part - she's obsessed with The Sopranos. The producers thought she'd be perfect because she's got such a toned body and has no problems flaunting her flesh."

"And she's also used to writhing around the stage so she should be a natural when it comes to pole-dancing".

The BEP singer (real name Stacy Ferguson) has been going to the gym and working out with a personal trainer to be "the hottest stripper Bad-A-Bing's ever seen". She starts filming the episode early next year. The blonde star will also appear with Kurt Russell in the remake of 70s disaster flick "The Poseiden Adventure".
