The awesome fx show, nip/tuck returns for season 3 on september 20th, which can't be soon enough for die hard fans who were left hanging at the end of last season when dr. troy was possibly being slashed in the face by a serial killer wearing a clown mask. kill that annoying teenager matt, please, but leave dr. troy alone!
if the rumors are true, sexiest man alive dr. christian troy (aussie hottie julian mcmahon) will be back having even more graphic sex than he did the first season - thank god, since he was far too tame and paternal in year two. TV guide is reporting he'll enjoy a ménage à trois in the third season opener with his frequent bedmate kimber (kelly carlson) and a kinky vice cop (rhona mitra).
, "There are a lot more weird romances this season," says series creator Ryan Murphy. "Boys and girls. Boys with boys. Girls with girls." Quality cable television all around! Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) has a three-episode romance with a patient (Anne Heche) while his estranged wife Julia (Joely Richardson) turns to a lesbian romance for comfort.
Throw in some gross surgery shots (truly, they're icky - and real), some very wierd plastic surgery clients ("Tell us what you don't like about yourself"), and more betrayals and twists than "Desperate Housewives," and Nip/Tuck delivers as a wicked and over-the-top drama. There's nothing like it on TV. Tune in on September 20 and get addicted. (And good news for U.K. fans... Sky One will start showing it on Sunday October 16.)
