congrats all around to Britney Spearswho gave birth to a baby boy yesterday, September 14.
The 23-year-old pop singer has openly said for months that she was terrified of going through the pain of childbirth and opted to have a caesarian section instead. (Which is, uh, still painful for the 10 weeks it takes to recover from having your stomach muscles splayed open during the delivery...)
The little Federline reared his head at 12:40 p.m. on wednesday in what the Santa Monica Hospital described as a "very uncomplicated" delivery.
She and hubby, Kevin Federline, are believed to be planning to name the little one Preston Michael Spears Federline. that's P.M.S. Federline.
[Update: 9-20-05] Latest news is that the little cheeto will be named Sean Preston.
