suge knight pic Billy Bush of access hollywood is reporting that actress Jessica Albaand singer Joss Stonetold him they left the same table rap mogul Marion "Suge" knight was at only seconds before he was shot in the upper right leg at Kanye West's vma party.

"I got up from my table and he sat down at my table," Alba said. "It's shocking, because ... 30 seconds later he got shot." she said that she and the singer were still in the lobby where the party was being held when the shot was fired.

Stone added that if she and alba hadn't left the table when they did, they could have been in harm's way.
"Literally, he was like where we sat, so i was like, 'oh my god...'"

The shooting remains a mystery and police have no leads, however, according to the New York Daily News, the rapper may have accidently popped a cap in his own ass., Miami Beach police have no suspects. "As in any shooting, we have to look at whether this was a self-inflicted accident," said police spokesman Bobby Hernandez. "Here we have no bullet casings. No witnesses, no nothing."

Another sceptic is Ted Lucas, the Slip n Slide records label president, who said he doesn't believe it was related to any ongoing feud between rappers. He speculated it was either an accident or an isolated incident: "If it was a real hip-hop shooting, someone would have been dead. In hip-hop, someone doesn't walk up to you and shoot you in the leg."

lindsay lohan pic Teen superstar Lindsay Lohan has been embarrassed in the past by her father, Michael Lohan, for his bouts with drunk driving and attacking his own brother-in-law at a family party with a shoe. now he has decided to try a different course in his continuing efforts to humiliate Lindsay - he's written a song and sent the offensive lyrics to the new york daily news. here's a sample:

"... my dear my dear what will it take
for you to tell the truth, for goodness sake!
i loved and protected you,
i was there through it all.
i do admit, i did at times fall.
but these things you know were due to them,
the ones that want to have a piece of my gem!"

The song is in response to lindsay's yet-unreleased single titled either "confessions of a broken heart" or "daughter to father," in which she sings: "if you loved us, why did you do all these things?"

Meanwhile, lindsay is being consoled by all the family drama with her new snuggle buddy: Ashley Olsen's ex Scott Sartiano, the 30-something nightclub owner who doesn't like girls over 19.

robbie williams pic Remember when Robbie Williamswas making great music and doing tv shows, and he was like so famous and stuff? yeah, me neither.

British singer Robbie Williams says he absolutely won't release his new album "Intensive Care" in America. According to contactmusic.com, the songwriter is "stung by a lack of success in the u.s." and has henceforth resolved "not to give americans a taste of his new material."

He says: "the only way one of my albums is going to get into an l.a. record store is if i leave it there myself."

whooooooooooa!! that'll show us!! , It remains a mystery why Williams, like the Beckhams, is such a huge star in the UK but not in the US. He has sold an amazing 38 million albums in England but remains an unknown on this side of the Atlantic.
And while it seems like almost any Brit, Aussie, Irish, Welsh, Scot, Kiwi or Canadian actor or musician that can breath or has a pulse has made it big here, Robbie Williams can't get a break.
Crips, you'd think if no-talents like the Gottis and Tara Reid can get cable TV shows, Williams could get a little air time on US radio stations.
But that definitely won't happen now with his new marketing plan to ignore Americans.

Sean Penn's Effort to Rescue Flood Victims Sinks

Storm chaser, publicity hound, and would-be rescue Sean Penn got in over his head when he rented a small boat with the intention of personally saving lives in the new orleans floodwaters following hurricane Katrina.

Not being familiar with boats, the actor-turned-political activist had trouble from the get-go. crammed with penn's entourage (including a personal photographer), there was hardly room for any flood victims to board the craft.
Then the motor wouldn't start.
And he had launched the dingy before inserting the plug in the drain hole in the bottom. the tiny craft immediately began to take on water as penn quickly paddled back to shore after their 50-foot tour.

While he was furiously bilging out his dingy with a red plastic cup, some wiseacre heckled at him: "how are you going to get any people in that thing?"
, Since there were already 3 people in the 2-man duck-hunting boat (with reed camoflage!), Penn's intention to "rescue children" looked downright silly. And what's up with the white flak jacket, Spicoli? If your publicity crew gets shot, you'll be fine in your thin Kevlar vest that probably costs more than my monthly rent.

At least the Cajuns on shore finally got some comic relief after their horrific week.

Jackson Undergoing "Major Work" to Look Less Freaky

michael jackson pic Pop singer michael jackson has undergone numerous plastic surgeries, skin lightening procedures and fashion styles, and a new report claims that he is undergoing a makeover of his effeminate image.

According to an author Michael C. Luckman, who wrote "alien rock: the rock 'n' roll connection," Jackson has been hiding out in the tiny country of Bahrain while he prepares to relaunch his career.

The author says the 47-year-old singer wants to undergo a radical transformation to make himself look more "macho" besides lifting weights and working with a personal trainer, Jackson plans to wear shorter wigs and use less make-up.
, Luckman told PageSix.com that Jackson's parents are coordinating the make-over. The singer is reportedly holding talks with a Las Vegas casino/hotel to sign a long-term deal to perform there regularly. Luckman said he expects Jackson to return to his position as the king of pop: "Michael Jackson is headed to the stratosphere. Nothing can stop him now."

christina aguilera pic "Dirty" girl Christina Aguilerapicked up a hefty paycheck over the weekend for singing just three songs at the wedding of russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko and his bride, model Alexandra Koktovic.

The fee is reported to have been $3.6 million (?.2m) which comes out to $1.2 million per song. not bad for about 15 minutes of work. in addition, Christina and her fiance were flown by private jet to the wedding held in the south of france, and were put up in a $4,000 a night suite.

Christina's fee was only a fraction of the money spent on the extravagant wedding. Whitney Houston also performed at the wedding, as did Enrique and Julio Iglesias, although there's been no reports of what their fees were.

Forbes Magazine ranked Andrei Melnichenko at the 514th position among the world�s richest people in 2004.

Ciara and Bow Wow Confirm Their Romance but Not Engagement

bow wow and ciara pic For months, rap's heartthrob Bow Wow and his widely believed-to-be-girlfriend, crunk and b queen Ciara, having been denying rumors that they were a couple. Not anymore.

The single "like you" (from Bow Wow's Wanted album), and the video, shows the affection between them. Speculation of a possible marriage started a week ago at the mtv video music awards when the teenage couple were together and the goodies singer was wearing a large diamond ring on her finger.

Ciara dismissed the rumors: "People are going to say a lot of crazy things."
, Mtv.com says the ring is from Jacob the Jeweler, but as for how many carats or any other details, Ciara insisted, "I don't know, I don't care about these things. You'd have to ask the jeweler."

Bow Wow told reporters that he had given Ciara the ring, but insisted, "It's just a little something... but not that (an engagement ring), people."
