They didn't exactly call him a cream puff, but rowdy Colin Farrell is being embarrassed by his old friends from dublin who says he used to be a posh "mummy's boy."
The claims are in a soon to be released unauthorised biography "Colin Farrell: living dangerously" by Jane Kelly, and are challenging the wild actor's carefully crafted image.
It seems his old schoolmate are particularly amused by his strong irish accent - which they say he never used to have.
, Quite a number of childhood friends are quoted in Kelly's book. Peter Barry remembers, "He was seen as effeminate. They thought he was a sissy so he got picked on." Former pal Ritchie Molloy said, "He pretends he's from a tough part of Dublin but he's not." Another former schoolmate adds, "Colin sounds quite broad Dublin these days but everyone knows he's posher than he makes out."

Ya know,..if these people in this so called Biography are real friends(which I dont think they are) they wouldnt try to take a friend down. It seems as if people who in school might have been jealous of him for whatever reason are now trying to jump onboard a slam,..to get their names in the book.Noteriety. How sad.If I had a friend, from school, even if we werent close,I would never try to harm their public image or their hard work. And,even if Colin was an 'uptowner'so to speak. So? He's still a great actor,..and awefully fine looking guy!
Come hell or high water,Colin, you'll always get my vote!
