Superstar Christina Aguilera has reportedly turned down a cameo in the long-running hit animated TV show "The Simpsons."
According to Femalefirst.com,the singer was offered a part in the upcoming season series of the popular animated show but snubbed the offer. Producers wanted her to play an aspiring pop star competing in a parody of "American Idol."
However, Christina rejected the part and the animated show's producers are looking at other alternative casting ideas.
Christina is currently recovering with her arm in a cast after slicing two tendons in her arm two weeks ago when, according to her publicist, and I quote: she "picked up a piece of glass from a vase her dog knocked over and broke" at home, and not because of a fight with a drunken fan at a Paris nightclub.
