It's been so long since the last episode of "The Sopranos" that I've forgotten what gunsmoke smells like. At the end of last season, reluctant snitch Adriana didn't survive her trip to the woods with Silvio and Johnny Sack got nailed by the FBI -- making her death brilliantly pointless -- and er ... huh? WTF, two years between seasons might as well be a lifetime for a prime time TV show.
The good news on the goodfellas is, filming is now underway on Season Six. The New York Daily News has a great article on what is going on at the mobsters set in New Jersey. Can't wait to see Tony, Uncle Junior, Christopher, Silvio and Paulie Walnuts back at the Bada Bing next year. The article also has updates on what cast members have been doing while the show has been on hiatus.
For now, we have to satisfy ourselves with the official release today (June 7th) of the DVD for "The Sopranos" Season Five.
