When Brad Pitt learned that photos of himself with co-star Angelina Jolie were sold to the tabloids for mega dollars, the actor was furious. But not about the invasion of privacy - he was upset by what he considers to be a waste of money.
Pitt discovered that the splashy photos of his Kenyan beach holiday with Angelina scored one photographer an amount in excess of $500,000. In his interview with Diane Sawyer on "Primetime Live", he says he would have set up the shots himself if he knew the snaps would be so lucrative. Pitt has recently taken up the cause of poverty in Africa and while he hopes his celebrity can focus interest on important social issues, he is dismayed at the attention to his love life.
"It's amazing, the bounty that is on my head and the lengths that these people go to to get these shots," Pitt said, "and the amount of money that they're paying for these shots. It's something like half a million dollars or three quarter of a million dollars for the shots. I can't help but think what that money could have gone to. Hell, I would have set up the damn pictures myself."

What I am amazed at, is the amount of money they get paid to make movies. Bet he never thought about that. I guess he does not consider that a waste of money since most of it goes straight to his pocket. I hope he is using much of that for his new cause.

I would have to say that making the money for movies - which then generate even more money for all the rest of the movie industry is a little more constructive than invading "star's" privacy.
Just a thought
