To recap last night's episode: Susan tracks down Noah who lies to her about Mike. Bree thinks Edie thinks that she is cheating on Rex. Rex feels worse as George slowly poisons him to get him out of the way so he can pursue Bree. Mrs. Huber intercedes after Paul pumps his kid with pills. Lynette passes out before she can seduce Tom. Gabrielle keeps John from telling Carlos about their affair.
Boy gardener John learns from Gabrielle that's she's pregnant and that even though the baby might be his, that he shouldn't worry about it. Gabrielle doesn't want it to ruin his life or, like, cause him to get killed by her jealous husband. He stresses over it and wants to do the right thing so he goes over to confront Carlos. Gabrielle throws Salsa in his face to knock some sense into him, and points out the finances of raising a child. John sees the light: "I can barely afford my new dirt bike, how am I gonna handle child support?" He backs off telling Carlos about the affair, and she's off the hook for another week.
, Lynette has been going through the blue funks recently worrying about the fact that she had her husband Tom haven't had sex in 10 days. With 4 cranky kids, it's obvious why he wants a break ... but she thinks he's fallen for Annabelle, his co-worker, all over again. So she buys a French maid outfit and fishnet stockings and hopes to seduce him. He comes home late with an out-of-town colleague and is embarrassed to find his wife drunk and passed out on the couch.
Bree has a romantic dinner with George, the wacko pharmacist who is poisoning her husband Rex but they don't know it yet. She thinks the dinner is innocent looking enough but as they gush over each other and she feeds him in a suggestive way, she looks up to see none other than Edie sitting across from her in the restaurant. Edie raises an eyebrow that say "Eh? Hanky Panky." Seeing Edie witness the whole sordid display throws Bree into a panic. Later, she confronts Edie (how DOES she stuff herself into that skirt?) -- who actually gives her advice about confiding her life secrets in her husband, not her pharmacist.
Paul has been pumping his teen son Zach with tranquilizers but Mrs. Huber finds out and takes him to her house. When Paul comes over to confront her, she tells him that Martha kept a journal, and that she knows he and Mary Alice stole a baby named Dana and changed his name. She also knows he killed her sister, Mrs. Huber. She orders Paul to leave and that she'll raise Zach herself.
...meanwhile, Susan is finally rid of her mom now that Morty has proposed to her. Back to her investigation of Mike, she hires a PI who gives her a file that contains a photo of Mike with a woman Susan knows, Kendra, in the background. Turns out Kendra is Noah's other daughter, Deirdre's sister. Susan goes to talk to Noah who claims Mike is a killer and drug dealer, but Kendra chases after her car to tell her the truth: that Mike kicked drugs, but Deirdre couldn't. When an undercover cop forced Deirdre to have sex, Mike bursts in and fought the cop who died accidentally as Mike was defending himself. So Mike's really a good guy (which we all suspected) and Susan runs into his arms.
Other than that, not much happened on "Desperate Housewives" this week...
