In an interview with rock legend Alice Cooper (on his Nights with Alice Cooper radio show) Ozzy Osbourne talked about the upcoming Ozzfeast, great rock bands, and clean living. Alice even asked Ozzy about his recent appearance on The Dr. Phil Show. Alice: "Isn’t he the anti-Christ?" Ozzy: "He’s not the anti-Christ. Uhhhh, isn’t that you or I?"
In other news, the Prince of Darkness discusses his 2003 off-road accident on a 4-wheeler that put him in intensive care. Despite making a full recovery, the former Black Sabbath bat biter admits he still angry with himself over the crash.
"It pisses me off. I've flipped a car at 100 miles an hour and walked away. Then I nearly die going 3 miles an hour on a pissing quad bike. It's like falling off a lawn mower! Not a very rock star death."
, It's true: Ozzy nearly didn't survive the low-speed crash. "I died on the way to the hospital, than they got me going again, and I died in hospital. I was in a coma for eight days."
And unable to scream "Shaaarrooon!" for eight whole days. But then he's been in a state of suspended animation for years now so I don't think the whole coma thing would have bothered him much.
Now, officially back from the dead and living large -- we don't know where at the moment, he prefers England but the US is cheaper to live he says -- he's gearing up for his European tour which kicks off June 9th, and the North American Ozzfest begins July 15th.
