He lasted much much longer than people expected, but Scott Savol was finally voted off "American Idol" on Wednesday. And no one was more surprised than he was.
Ryan Seacrest sent Scott and Anthony Fedorov (who will be the next to go) off to the side, and told the remaining three contestants – Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice, and Vonzell Solomon – that they were safe. Judge Randy Jackson replied that the right three people had been spared.
This is almost too easy to predict.
, I like Vonzell but I don't think she will win, mainly because she reminds too many people of Fantasia who won last year. They'll want a new look for this competition's winner. Bo seems to be the overwhelming popular choice but Carrie is a favorite with the judges (especially Simon Cowell). I'd be surprised if it isn't these two in the final.
Scott must have thought he was safe for another week, because when Seacrest told him to sit down, the big boy pumped his fist, apparently unaware that Seacrest didn't EXACTLY say he was safe. The dude should not have been surprised he was a goner -- or that Seacrest would take a week off from his head games.

I want to know if Scott will automatically get a record deal. I would like to know what if anything the final 10 contestants get for making it this far?

I think the top three should be bo,carrie and vonzell. However I was impresssed with Anthony's performance last night. He did great. I don't feel they have given anthony a fair deal. He is alot better than Scott. I feel Constaine got a bum deal too!

I think Scott was ok. Anthony sucked. Constantine & Bo are awesome. Carrie should have went to Nashville Star, not American Idol, but I give it to the country girl-she's good. This season had more talent than all 3 previous seasons combined! Thanks AI for raising the age limit!

i liked scottsavol alot especially on look at me now i was hopin for him to be in the top 5
i was pretty sure he was not going to win i thought anthony and carrie was going to be the last two and scott was going to take third i hope he come out with a record if he does the day it comes out i would buy it
the same with anthony
i would buy carries scootts and anthonys all at the same time

i wanna know if scott is releasing a cd cos i love his voice and i prefer the way he sings "everytime you go away" and i love the original by brian mcknight.

i thouhght bo bice and consatine would be the last two.. Scott scavol was awsome people dont make fun of him cause how he looks judge people by there persoality... SO dont make fun of scott scavol cause hes a lil bigger then ppl cause on lots of sites theres bad things about scott ..he has an awsome voice hes so cute i love u schoo and this is coming from a 14 yr old...
