Gorgeous Jesse Metcalfe is picking up awards and enjoying life now that his gig on a Top-10 Prime Time Show has made him an even bigger star.
"Everything concerning 'Desperate Housewives' has been a dream come true, and I've been enjoying the ride," Metcalfe said over the weekend at the Young Hollywood Awards show. "As far as dealing with the press and the paparazzi and the tabloids and that stuff, you know it takes a little getting used to. But, at the end of the day, it's not really that big of a deal. You just can't take it too seriously."
Just keep having fun, Jesse. The other night at L.A.'s Roxy, Lindsay Lohan jumped onstage with Jesse to sing "Jesse's Girl." Hmm, could mean Lindsay is making a play for the hot boy? He's free now of Tara Reid, who he wisely never admitted to dating, but she's moved on to rocker Tommy Lee anyway.
, Jesse was in attendance at the 7th annual Young Hollywood Awards on Sunday night, which celebrates the best of the new talent arriving in Hollywood as well as those who have been there for a few years and have established themselves. He was named the "Exiting New Face" which is a shmarmy award title that actually means "Most Excellent Hunk."
Even Eva Longoria and Marcia Cross admitted to being Jesse fans and they showed up at the L.A. event to support him. When asked why they were there, Cross said, "Do I have to explain that to you? Oh my God! You mean, besides the fact that he's gorgeous and talented, and apparently quite a good musician."
Other young guns at the event included Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, Hayden Paettiere, Frankie Muniz, Amber Tamblyn, and Jamie Lynn Spears.
