The latest gossip on serial dater Tom Cruise, 42, is that he has moved on to another Hollywood starlet, this time it's former "Dawson Creek" hottie Katie Holmes, 26.
He was photographed with her in Rome recently where he will receive a lifetime achievement award at the Italian equivalent of the Academy Awards, the David di Donatello Awards. His sister and publicist Lee Anne Devette has confirmed that the two are dating.
Holmes recently broke off her engagement to "American Pie" actor Chris Klein in February after their 5-year romance ended. Last year she reportedly hooked up with the very hot Josh Hartnett. But in a surprise move, the ultra-private actress is now dating a high profile Mega-actor that wears a white leather motorcycle jacket (Ooh! Does it match his Harley?!?), is 16 years older and 2 inches shorter than she is, and has been brainwashed by scientology babble.
And scientology does seem to affect everything Cruise does, as well as his relationships. MSNBC.com reported that a source close to Penelope Cruz says that her split from Cruise in January was due to the fact that she was "dragging her feet" when it came to converting to his controversial religion. "She had taken some courses, but she was resisting taking the plunge and there was no way they'd stay together unless she converted," said the source. It was also mentioned that scientology is suspected to have been a factor in Cruise's split from ex-wife Nicole Kidman, who also refused to convert. Will Katie be the one to take the plunge?

I usualy don't like to judge couples on whether or not they are good together because you never realy know how they realy are when they are alone together. To me that is realy important-how a couple is when they are alone together. Katie Holmes to me is a beautiful, innocent,talented actress who has her whole life ahead of her. Tom Cruise is a man who is very talented as well but has way to much life experience. They don't look that great together and I personaly don't think they will last but if Katie holmes can remind him a little bit about innocence then maybe they'll do alright. They are just at very different points in their lives. It can go both ways, either they will have a good relationship because they are so different and they can learn alot from eachother or they won't get along at all.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes do look great together. The people who are criticising them are just jealous. And mind you, it is not about age, beliefs or how tall you are. It is all about what they feel for one another. In all of hollywood, they are the cutest and sweetest couple and they look great together, better than any other hollywood couple I have seen, and I have seen all of them.
Honestly, I do hope the relationship goes so well, that they get married and have children. Afterall the kids would be more beautiful than the ones she could have had with his two ex-wives. She is more beautiful and with a better heart than all those women Tom Cruise has dated before. Katie Holmes is the one.

People like Tom Cruise don't impress me in the least. The women who now hang around him are just as shallow. If you can't make a marriage work with a woman like Nicole Kidman, then you should remain a bachelor for life. Nuff said.

I still love you Tom but you need to just stop and leave Miss Young Thang alone. I think this is all a publicity ploy to get her career going and to get War of the Worlds off to a great start. I'm going to see both Batman and War of the Worlds without the hoopla that their causing. He was absolutely insane on Oprah and even Oprah looked uncomfortable with his antics. I couldn't watch the rest of show because of vomitasous issues. Tom come on out the closet baby, we'll all understand. Go back to your old self, discret. And will the media please give them a rest, we're sick of it already.
