I loove those pants!!!!! Rafa, they make your butt look fabulous!!
Rafael Nadal, 18, of Spain, looked like he wandered in to the Nasdaq-100 Final from South Beach wearing white below-the-knees clam-digger pants and a sexy sleeveless day-glow orange shirt. This boy has some fashion sense!
Even though Nadal was crushed in the finals, 6-2, 7-6, 6-7, 3-6, 1-6, by unbeatable World's No. 1 Roger Federer (BOOOOOOO!!), it looks like Rafa will have an awesome year. (And I hear, contrary to popular belief, Federer is NOT in line for the popehood . . . sainthood maybe.)
Federer admitted to being stun by how well Nadal played, "It was extremely close. I consider myself lucky to get through. For me this was a big match, because I know what a great player he will be one day."
Rafael came awfully close, he led two sets to love and had chances to take the third set before he ran out of gas.
Rafael came into Miami at No. 31 in the world, and left Miami on Sunday ranked No. 17, just a few spots from his goal of reaching the Top 15 this year. If you're not a Rafael fan yet, you will be by the French Open next month. Vamos, Rafa!

I think those pants are the bees knees. And with those arms, I think my screen is about to erupt into a Spanish supernova. Could this be the next big thing in tennis fashion? One can only hope.
I'm not too sure about any competitive advantage one might gain from wearing pants like those, except, of course, for the distraction factor from that sweet, Andalucian tush.
