Call it Revenge on the Nerd, but Ashton Kutcher, the master prankster, recently set up "Napolean Dynamite" star John Heder to appear to be busted in a Hollywood brothel.
It was especially funny since John is a great guy, married and a Mormon. But Pedro was not around to offer his protection when Kutcher's TV show "Punk'd" got the best of Heder.
On the show, John, who played the misfit hero with the sweet dance moves, though he was attending a party at a mansion with his twin brother, Dan, and a friend, thinking it's some kind of restaurant. The ladies there act quite friendly, then John becomes worried when LAPD vice cops show up and shoot rapid questions at him about hiring hookers.
, He keeps his cool (he's Napolean Dynamite after all!) and when it sounds like he is just about to be arrested for solicitating a prostitute, the cop reads John his rights: "You have the right to be PUNK'D". (The episode aired on April 10.)
Tater Tots Rule! Recently, the cult film "Napolean Dynamite" earned a coveted spot on David Letterman's list for "The Top Ten Signs That You Are Not the Most Popular Kid in High School."
