Jesse McCartney is just coasting with being a teen heartthrob. For now. McCartney's career is riding high, and he landed a spotlight article in this week's "Entertainment Weekly" magazine to let us know what we're missing.
(And in case you're missing it - he plays 17-year-old surfer Bradin Westerly in "Summerland," which is just beginning its second season 9 p.m. EST Monday on the WB channel.)
He's not a new actor, but an old veteran, having done The King and I on stage at age 9, and has since then been in a successful boy band, acted on a soap opera, snagged Emmy nominations, and now has a debut album out. It's chart topper single, "Beautiful Soul," is the title track of the album, and is featured on the soundtrack of the movie "A Cinderella Story."

I dont get over obsessed like most people do about pop stars but i dont see why because they are just ordinary people with more money and fame and most probably more talent. HI! My friend told me about this site and so I've been reading each post a little at a time between concerts and everything. I'm pretty busy considering I'm on tour but I always can make time for my fans. I can't write much but I'll try to touch on each of your subjects.
No, I'm not or ever have been an orphan...I have a mom, dad, sister (Lea) and brother (Timmy).
I do have a girlfriend, Katie Cassidy. She doesn't have a sister named Jasmine though. She has 2 sisters and their names are Jenna and Jaime.
Yes, I used to give out my email but too many people found out and my account froze up on me so I don't give it out that often any more.
I had a great 18th birthday! I had alot of fun!
Thank you all so much for supporting me. I'm so lucky to have such great fans! I wish I could meet every single one of you and maybe someday I will!
I would love to write more but I've gotta get going. I will try to write back but my schedule is hectic...I will try my hardest though!
