Singer J.Lo was complaining recently that playing tough women on screen are hurting her film career. She says that the roles have given her a lot of unwanted negative publicity.

She told Teen Hollywood that her fans are having difficulty distinguishing between her and the characters she plays: "I think people get the wrong idea because of the roles I've played. I've played a couple of cops, a couple of killers and that seems to have put some people off."
No, Jen, if your career is in a temporary lull it's because you need to choose BETTER film projects, you know, stuff that doesn't have Ben Affleck anywhere in sight . . . more movies like Anaconda and Maid in Manhattan, and definitely NOT stinkers like Out Of Sight and um, Gigli.
