The official Razzie Award nominations were announced today with Catwoman leading the pack of last year’s flops.
Halle Berry gets a nommie for Worst Actress in Catwoman, along with Sharon Stone, who got a nod for Worst Supporting Actress in the same film. Hilary Duff and Angelina Jolie join Berry in the Worst Actress category for Raise Your Voice and Alexander, respectively.
The contenders for worst movie of 2004 are Catwoman, White Chicks, Alexander and Surviving Christmas.
President George Bush gets an unusual entry in the Worst Actor category for his performance in Fahrenheit 9/11. The president is joined by former winner Ben Affleck for just about everything he does, Colin Farrell for Alexander and Ben Stiller -- for all his movies in 2004, although they brought in some serious cash at the box office.
The nommies for Worst Director include Pitof for Catwoman, Oliver Stone for Alexander and Keenan Ivory Wayans for White Chicks.
The Razzie's are always announced the day before the Oscar nominations; the ceremony announcing the winners will take place on February 26. You can visit the awards online at their Web site.
